The New Craftsmen have partnered with The Crafts Council on a programme called A Future Made, focused on showcasing British Craft on an International platform. Acting as the lead on all sales & commissions arising from the project, as well as collaborating on creative direction for show and presentations, we are proud to play a role in extending the profile of the exceptional craft talents involved in the programme.
After the first presentation- a highly regarded Design Curio booth entitled Nature Lab at Design Miami/ Basel in June 2016, A Future Made will be showcasing its second presentation entitled “British Craft: The Miami Edit” at South Beach Miami in a penthouse residence at 1 Hotel & Homes. Leading architect and interior designer Natalia Miyar has co-curated the presentation to illustrate how beautiful hand-made and tactile objects can transform a residential space and infuse it with personality and warmth.
British Craft: The Miami Edit will also be the first showing of a new commission by Joseph Harrington made possible by donation to A Future Made programme by The Glenlivet.
The event will be taking place on the 27 Nov 2016 — 02 Dec 2016, to book an exclusive tour of the space please contact [email protected] for more information
