Animals in Eden Ornamental Plate is a unique decorative piece by Alex Sickling. Hand-built using a press mould and white earthenware clay, this piece is inspired by English delftware chargers from the 1700's, taking inspiration from the colours and simple illustrations which often decorated the pieces.
Material: White earthenware clay.
Dimensions: Height: 2cm, Length: 26cm, Width: 26cm.
Care Instructions: Wipe with damp cloth.
The plate is made from white earthenware, the clay is rolled out flat and then laid onto a slump mould to take its form, before it is hand painted using coloured underglazes.
