Artisan Retreats at Chelsea
We had an extraordinary week at RHS Chelsea Flower Show, introducing the work of our makers to the 160,000 visitors who flocked to view the most anticipated garden displays in Britain. Tucked away in a semi-woodland glade, our Artisan Retreats housed displays by Michael Ruh, Gareth Neal, Silvia K, Nic Webb, Katherine May and Gina Marris. All of the work showcased at Chelsea will be introduced to our Mayfair gallery and online from 23rd June.

Glass artist Michael Ruh presented a new collection of coloured glass vases in different shapes and sizes, which can made to order in your preferred colour, showcased via the chromatic ‘peg rack’ of coloured juice glasses on the wall.
As written in The Times: “My show highlight? Never mind the gardens for a moment: for the use of superb craftsmanship and an intelligent artist’s eye, the wooden sculptures of Nic Webb in the Artisan Retreats win hands down.”
Furniture designer-maker Gareth Neal presented his ‘Mindful Living’ selection of objects including the Brodgar bench & chair, and newly launched ‘Warming Cabinet‘ in woven straw and oak, made in collaboration with The Orkney Chair maker Kevin Gauld.

Katherine May presented the research behind her latest plant & flower dyed textile collection, which was born from an investigation the relationship between colour and scent, in collaboration with Floris of Mayfair.
