Process

Inspired by his sketches, Edmond blows glass into moulds to create the tactile surfaces. Each mold is made of clay, fabrics and sand. The vessel is blown in opaque colours, very thinly so the hue changes. The piece is then dipped in a kaolin and water solution to create crazing and a patina effect.
