Product Story
This Catching Insects Platter by Polly Fern is a decorative piece inspired by Maria Sibyilla Merian, an Entomologist who would study insects to create her incredible scientific paintings. Polly created this platter as an ode to Maria, imagining her venturing out on one of her expeditions to capture her specimens with a net. The platter features an insect painted surround with an oxide splattered border.
