Daffodils at Night Platter
Jacqueline Leighton Boyce
Daffodils at Night Platter by Jacqueline Leighton Boyce is an artfully embellished decorative plate made from terracotta and illustrated using slip, with metallic lustres. When we have endured the cold hard winter, seeing the first flowers appear, pushing their delicate heads through the icy ground, brings much joy. Nature is a recurrent theme throughout Jacqueline's work and this particular piece depicts the hardy early flowers of Spring – daffodils, crocuses and snowdrops.
