Dahlia Platter I
Jacqueline Leighton Boyce
Dahlia Platter I by Jacqueline Leighton Boyce forms part of a body of work inspired by her garden in July and the poem ‘Answer July’ by Emily Dickinson. During the height of summer, vivid and vibrant colours fill the borders, with all their flamboyance and drama on display. For this piece, Jacqueline uses metallic lustres to highlight the abundance of blooming flowers and the way they dance in the light in darker corners of the garden.
