In the Forest Collage, Jo Waterhouse depicts a woodland scene inspired by the possibilities of the tree form. This unique artwork is an exploration of shape and texture, inspired by the moment branches separate and multiply unexpectedly. What began as an individual tree, soon multiplied into more trees and Jo found herself making an entire forest. This artwork uses papers ranging from antique etchings to marbled papers, to describe the forest in great colour and pattern.
