Foxglove Table Lamp is a decorative table lamp designed and illustrated by hand, exclusively for The New Craftsmen, by illustrator and ceramicist Polly Fern. Inspired by the shape of an antique tea caddy, with a yellow painted body, each facet features a hand painted foxglove, varying from Burgundy petals to Rutile Yellow. Shown paired with 14'' Straight Empire Pleated Linen Shade. International wiring is available, please enquire for further details. Shade not included in price but available to order on request.
Material: Hand Built with White Earthenware clay, fired and dipped in a Tin Glaze. Painted with underglazes and oxides. Lamp comes as standard with a 3m pale linen flex, white plug and antique brass E27 bulb holder. Bulb not included.

This piece is crafted from white earthenware clay, and made into a lamp by hand rolling the slabs and cutting out the individual shapes. The slabs are then joined and moulded by hand to create the lamp base. The piece is finished with hand-painted a foxglove on each facet.
The Maker Polly Fern Ceramicist - East of England

Based in Norwich, Polly Fern is an illustrator and ceramicist who creates tin-glazed ceramic pieces. Polly has a BA First Class in Illustration from Norwich University of The Arts and her work has been displayed in various, world-renowned international galleries, including The Sainsbury Centre in Norwich and The MET Museum in New York. Polly’s work is illustrated by hand with drawings inspired by places, historical events and childhood stories, making each object an original work of art.
