Ganymede Table Lamp (Tall)

Adam Ross
£1,250
The Ganymede Table Lamp (Tall) is an elegant stoneware form by ceramicist Adam Ross. Shade sold separately.
Adam hand builds each lamp base using the coiling technique. The piece then undergoes a lengthy process of surface layering, whereby thin slips and oxides are applied over a prolonged period. The final layer of white slip sits atop the metal oxides, resulting in a blistered finish. These accretions are then sanded back to reveal the colour underneath. Inspired by a study of Jupiter's largest moon, Ganymede, this table lamp comes to life when illuminated. Each lamp is a sculptural statement piece perfect for enhancing the exceptional interior.
