The Mill also regularly collaborates with external partners – farmers and smallholders – to develop and produce beautiful and innovative design-lead products created from waste yarn and other materials often incorporating British alpaca and Shetland wool.
Franki and Juliet contribute to the field extensively: they lecture at the Campaign for Wool's 'Making it in Textiles' conference, and for MA course at the RCA. They are involved in the Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust for craft scholars and apprentices, and received the Thomas Fattorini Award for Excellence in Craft in 2016.
