Ruth Tomlinson is a contemporary jewellery designer with diverse classical reference. She specialises in creating one-off & bespoke commissions and has been descried as ‘an influence on this generation’ by jewellery aficionado Dorothy Hogg, MBE.
Each of Ruth’s pieces contain a secret treasure or personal history – diamonds sit alongside fragments of glass, ceramic flowers, antique beads and pearls. Her work gives new leases of life to antique gems, fractured and reset in bands of gold.
Ruth uses her own inventive techniques, taking unworn and underappreciated jewellery with sentimental value, reconstructing them into new pieces the owner will treasure.
