Catarina’s throws are produced by hand on a traditional loom. By nature, the process is slow-paced, allowing for spontaneous adjustments. When Catarina begins a piece, she rarely knows what it will look like finished, but always determines certain parameters when setting up the loom. These include block sizes, straight or mirrored draft, and colour palette.
