Incised Tile in White

Froyle Tiles
The Incised Tile is made with an honest coarse clay body, with traditional studio decorative techniques using a Tenmoku glaze. Single tiles are available to buy and can be mixed and matched to form multiple layouts and feature walls for interior use.

The Incised Tile was designed as part of the Studio Pottery Tile Collection, an exclusive new collection hand crafted and glazed by Froyle Tiles for The New Craftsmen. Hand cut, course clay sets a backdrop to transparent fluid glazes, the glaze pooling into the surface textures and undulations on the tile. No two tiles are ever the same, and they have a depth and richness to them which is unavailable by mechanised production methods.
