Maker's Quote

”Froyle tiles are made from a high fired stoneware which is extremely rare in handmade tile production. The result is an incredibly durable, hard wearing tile. All the minerals in the clay body and glaze become increasingly volatile at the higher stoneware temperature creating a depth that is unachievable by mass production techniques. Each tile is individually glazed with high-fired stoneware glazes using a ladle, resulting in a rich and varied surface finish.”
