Philippa Craddock
Maker's Story
Philippa Craddock is a self-taught florist with a down to earth approach to floristry. She founded her eponymous floristry business in 2009, working globally with brands and individuals, designing fresh floral installations for campaigns, projects, weddings and private events, including Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding. In 2018 Philippa launched her flower school and her first collection of products. For The New Craftsmen, Philippa has collaborated with glass artist Jochen Holz to create ‘Glass Meadow’, an installation of 21 unique vessels, including 6 repeatable pieces which can be bought separately.
Maker's Quote
These contemporary vessels are designed to make it enjoyable and easy for people to create beautiful displays for their homes. I love Jochen’s work. His focus on contemporary, vibrant organic shapes is fascinating and I knew it would challenge me creatively. Each object is light and delicate with its own extraordinary level of vibrancy and energy, meaning each piece commands a very specific flower.
