To our customers and community,
As we all try to navigate how best to continue with daily life, we felt it was important that we communicate to you how we will continue to work hard to support and celebrate the work of our extraordinary community of makers.
Up and down the country there active workshops and studios - hands, wheels, hammers, needles, kilns, looms and more; with makers following their unstoppable instinct to create.
We will continue to champion these makers and their work in the following ways:
We will be dispatching online orders once a week. Whilst this is at a reduced rate and will impact on delivery timelines, we will endeavour to keep you fully informed of your order status and when you can expect your purchase to arrive. For any questions on an existing order please email [email protected].
Showroom & Studio
From today, the showroom will become a by-appointment space until further notice. We welcome clients to make an appointment with our Private Client Sales Manager, Nicholas Rogers, to see specific pieces of work and collections, discuss custom orders and bespoke commissions. Please do email Nicholas at [email protected] to set up a time to visit, receive further information on a maker or collection, or have a conversation on the phone.
Working with the team
As of today, our team will work remotely. Though scattered, they will continue to work at their desks or kitchen tables, and are eager to start or continue conversations about existing or new projects.
Please do look out for updates on our homepage and in newsletters regarding new makers and collections launching soon.
We will also be bringing you stories of making across the British Isles, providing inspiration and nourishment that we are all in need of.
Your continued support is deeply appreciated and, from us all, a heartfelt thank you for your understanding as we make these changes. In so doing, we hope that they lay the foundations for some new and better ways of working.
We will update you with any further developments as soon as we can.
Our very best wishes,
From Yelena and The New Craftsmen Team
