British Oak is a wood renowned for its fine grain, hardness and ability to hold an edge. This fine curved edge chopping board captures the balance between sturdiness while still being extremely lightweight. Each piece has also been lightly finished with walnut oil and scorched with Tim’s signature logo. Each board is sourced from individual pieces of wood so sizes will vary.
About the Tim Plunkett
Tim Plunkett is a Norfolk based wood-turner who produces finely turned bowls and beautifully slim and elegant platters. Learning through trial and error, Tim turned professional in 1995 with the help of the Princes Trust. A few years later he was invited onto the ‘Register of Professional Turners’ held by the ‘Worshipful Company of Turners’ – at the time, the youngest person to be accepted.
