The ethereal 'Nightjars' tells the story of a midsummer night. An old lantern hangs in a hawthorn tree, with moths congregating around it, hypnotised by the radiating light. Out of the shadows swoop two 'churring' nightjars, eager to feed.
Signed and numbered by the artist in pencil.
