- Product Details
A stark contrast to the Parson’s Chair, the Wife of Bath’s chair is an extravagant piece, reflecting a life of worldly experience. Painted using historical pigments in a vibrant blue, and lacquered on the top with a sharp yellow, the base of the chair has been decorated with strip of gold leaf- representing the gap between her teeth- associated with lustful behaviour in medieval times.
The piece can be made to order with a lead time of 8-10 weeks
