- Product Details
Aimee has used intricate, interlacing stitches to bind strips of leather and cord together, producing a delicate lace effect. Contrasting with the timber below, this brocade work will draw the eye and create a focal point in any interior. The Ricasso is a continuation of Aimee's Ricasso handle family, inspired by European Sword Handles from the Wallace Collection, London. The Collection – renowned for its fine craftsmanship, opulence and exotic beauty – was acquired mainly in Paris by the 4th Marquess of Hertford prior to his death in 1870.
