Cream Ganymede Table Lamp (Medium) on a toasted stoneware base is a round stoneware form by ceramicist Adam Ross. Each lamp is a sculptural statement piece perfect for enhancing any interior. 

Inspired by a study of Jupiter's largest moon, Ganymede, this table lamp comes to life when illuminated.

PROCESS

The lamps are coiled and then finished on the wheel. The piece is then glazed onto the base clay, and the bottom half coated in slip. A spiral pattern is created by covering the lamp in a very thick slip, and then shaping the surface with a tool as the wheel slowly rotates.
