Sapphire Cluster Ring with Diamonds by Ruth Tomlinson. Ruth is a contemporary jewellery designer specialising in creating one-off & bespoke commissions and has been described as ‘an influence on this generation’ by jewellery aficionado Dorothy Hogg, MBE. Each of Ruth’s pieces contain a secret treasure or personal history – diamonds sit alongside fragments of glass, ceramic flowers, antique beads and pearls. Her work gives new leases of life to antique gems, fractured and reset in bands of gold.

Ruth Tomlinson is a contemporary jewellery designer crafting unique handmade pieces from her London studio. Ruth’s pieces are reminiscent of the natural world: gold is transformed into barnacle like encrustations slowly enveloping precious rubies and pearls. Ruth believes each piece of jewellery should be unique, like each of us. Her work is designed to evoke a sense of wonder in the wearer; to be treasured for generations to come with their own stories and histories.
