Still Point of the Turning World No.5
Still Point Of The Turning World is a decorative sculpture by Irish basket-maker Joe Hogan. This piece is inspired by the poetry of John O'Donoghue and the sublime beauty of Joe's local landscape in Ireland. Hand-woven from home-grown willow and featuring a tapered cone-shape, with a small stone sitting in the narrow opening at the top of the vessel. Combining the natural and the man-made, it is an intriguing piece, rooted in Joe's ability to connect with the natural world.
