Product Story
Hand-made using Portuguese cork oak bark and traditional Japanese lacquer techniques, Pedro has created a vessel that celebrates nature, tradition, and innovation. Wholly redefining the interior, whilst highlighting the natural exterior, Pedro allows imagination and nature to exist harmoniously within this unique piece.
Fashioned from the bark of the Portuguese cork oak, the vessel's organic shape is formed from the parts of the tree that grow over old cut branches or deformities on the tree's trunk. It can only be collected every seven to eight years and it takes at least fifty years before the cork can be first harvested.
