Viola Cushion in Sage Green

Rosemary Milner
Viola Cushion in Sage Green is part of the Garden collection by artist and designer Rosemary Milner. Inspired by a beautifully delicate Fabergé Pansy that she saw during a visit to the V&A museum, given as an emblem of love by Emperor Nicolas II to the Empress Alexandra Feodorovna in 1904 on their tenth wedding anniversary. Rosemary was drawn to the simplicity of the piece and the incredible detail of the enamel in the petals. As a child, Rosemary would press and preserve violas and pansies and the understated yet beautiful plants have become a welcome addition to the Garden collection.
