Where the Branch Lived Sculpture by Joe Hogan. Shortlisted for the 2018 Loewe Craft Prize, Joe Hogan is a master of his craft revered the world over. Living and working in a remote location affords him the ability to connect with the natural world. Joe applies his deep understanding of materials and place in the creation of each piece, resulting in a unique woven sculpture and collector's item in its own right.
Inspired by the poetry of John O Donoghue, Joe often quotes a single line from his piece ‘For the Artist at the Start of the Day’: "become a pure vessel for what wants to ascend from silence".

Care Instructions: Wipe the surface with a damp cloth once or twice a year to prevent the buildup of dust. Display in a dry shady spot.
