Faceted Table Lamp in Tenmoku (Tall)
Faceted Table Lamp in Tenmoku (Tall) is part of an exclusive light collection created for The New Craftsmen by ceramicist Adam Ross. The lamps are produced using expert pottery techniques, and while the pieces are repeatable in glaze tone, shape and size, each individual lamp will be unique due to the hand-cut nature of Adam’s process.
Adam is inspired by both Japanese and British studio ceramics, particularly the work pioneered by Leach Pottery of St Ives in Cornwall. Each lamp explores the art of sculptural form with its cleaved and altered surfaces.
International and bespoke variations wiring is available, please enquire for further details. Shades available to order.

PROCESS
Inspired by traditional Anglo-Japanese pottery forms, each lamp base is thrown on the potter's wheel and faceted horizontally with a sharp blade. The pieces are then covered in Adam's own hand-mixed glazes, created in reference to traditional studio pottery glazes.
