Arrow Wall Light

The Arrow Wall Light by artist and designer Alexandra Robinson was created with her Wobble Ceiling Light collection in mind. Made using the same clean and simple principles, the Arrow Wall Light introduces two conical shapes that sit perfectly perpendicular with one another, to create clear parallel lines. The term ‘arrow’ references the light’s two conical points and is also affectionately named after the dog of an artist friend who Alexandra discussed her design with. The solid, tactile plaster finish is completely unique and sold exclusively through The New Craftsmen. The light comes with a bracket for wall mounting and is wired and ready to be installed. International wiring is available, please enquire for further details.

PROCESS

The Arrow was first mocked-up in paper to get the correct proportions and angles. After taking apex angle measurements, a mould was created in resin which is then used for casting the plaster shade and back plate. The two are connected by an allthread fastening which is completely concealed with the same plaster, applied by hand.
