Banksia Vessels by London-based wood turner Darren Appiagyei. A highly textured vessel produced by exploring 3 different layers of the natural wild flower, first discovered by Joseph Banks, the botanist working with Captain Cook on his voyage to Australia.
Working on the lathe for many hours on each piece, Darren is inspired by Ghanaian Art and the rawness and strives to enhance the natural beauty of the material.
