Ricasso Barrel Table Lamp is the latest in Aimee's Ricasso series and is made from a cylindrical oak form that is hand-turned on a lathe in Gloucestershire. Aimee adorns the base with her distinctive detailed leather braiding in her studio in Berkshire. She creates the tightly woven structure by braiding suede, leather and waxed cotton cords, which come together to form a rich texture that becomes animated under the light.
Contrasting with the timber below, this brocade work will draw the eye and create a focal point in any interior. The light is available in oak or walnut timber and a variety of custom leather colours. The base has a diameter of 13.5 cm and is 45.7 cm high. International wiring, bespoke colours and sizes available. Shades available to order.
