Brodgar Dining Chair (Without Drawer) by Gareth Neal and Kevin Gauld, a unique piece which draws inspiration from the traditional Orkney chair.

Brodgar Dining Chair (Without Drawer) is the product of a collaboration between The New Craftsmen, Dalston based furniture maker Gareth Neal, and traditional Orkney chair maker Kevin Gauld. Gareth recently travelled back to Orkney in Scotland to develop the original Brodgar Chair design with Kevin, resulting in a contemporary twist on this iconic piece of British furniture. It can be made with or without the traditional drawer that is fitted underneath.

The Brodgar Dining Chair has been designed with a smaller visual and physical footprint to enable the chair to work in multiples around a dining table, the back posture suits that of a dining position yet is sufficiently reclined to allow guests to relax informally after dinner.
