Following in the footsteps of husband and wife team Charles and Ray Eames, artists-maker duo William Waterhouse and his partner Louisa Loakes collaborated to create this honest daybed design. Made from cherry wood, and featuring in-lay details at the corners, it is upholstered using English black herringbone strapping, with steel legs. The pair wanted to communicate a humble, informal and simple aesthetic, creating a day bed for the everyday. All of the textiles have been made by Louisa, who used linocut to hand block eye-catching and distinctive patterns.
