Harvest Owl Jar by ceramicist Isatu Hyde is crafted from stoneware clay sourced from the north coast of Cornwall. Inspired by traditional British country pottery, this piece references The Dorset Owl or 'Costrel' Jar which was crafted at The Verwood Pottery in Dorset. The piece was traditionally used for storing cider to be drunk at harvest time, and features two thumbed lugs, through which a leather strap was often looped to make long handle.
